Financial Aid Advisor Bilingual: English/ Spanish

A private beauty school is looking for a Financial Aid Advisor Bilingual: English/ Spanish to join our team in Wayne location.

Job Description:

Provide information and assistance to students and parents regarding available financial aid programs and the application process.

Review financial aid application forms for accuracy and completeness; request and review additional information from students as necessary.

Perform need analysis and award students based upon established criteria pertinent to each financial aid program (including state, federal, and institutional funding).

Collect and review documentation and complete verification for students.

Work closely with other offices (admissions and student services) and outside organizations to resolve discrepancies and assist students.

Bachelors degree required

Bilingual: English/ Spanish

Physical Requirements

This role may involve exposure to emotionally challenging experiences and/or interactions with people who are upset. There may be a lack of control over the work pace or work process (e.g., working with a system with limited functionality to meet process needs). There may be irregular and/or high volumes and multiple and/or tight deadlines beyond one's control. Regular working hours, and on occasion some evening/weekend work required.
